Introduction: Health management is crucial for the quality and efficiency of health services. Objective: To identify the influence of health management on the satisfaction of users of the Metropolitan Health Center in Tacna, Peru, during 2022. Materials and methods: A quantitative correlational study was carried out with a convenience sample of 200 patients. Three proprietary questionnaires were applied to evaluate the perception of effectiveness, quality and satisfaction. The data were analyzed with the SPSS.25 program. Results: The results showed acceptable levels of effectiveness, quality and satisfaction. The majority of users agreed with the facilities (62 %), the staff (60 %) and the demand (62 %). In addition, 41.5% valued the administration of economic and human inputs positively. Users mentioned receiving comprehensive and empathetic care from medical staff (20.5 %). The Spearman correlation showed a significant relationship between health management and user satisfaction (p=0.000 < 0.05), being higher in the quality indicator (0.425). Conclusions: Health management had a positive influence on user satisfaction, highlighting quality and effectiveness, especially in health organization and administration.
