About the Journal
RUNIN - Computer Science, Education, and Pedagogy
The University Journal of Computer Science (RUNIN) publishes two issues per year using a rolling acceptance model; this means that each article is published once it has completed the entire review and final approval process. These issues close in July and December of each year.
The two issues feature original and recent articles on research and reflection in the fields of Education, Technology, and Computer Science. In this way, the journal promotes an interdisciplinary approach that addresses education in technology and computer science and its contributions to various areas, highlighting the theoretical and methodological perspectives employed. Priority is given to works that present solid and rigorous results, meeting the criteria of relevance and pertinence established by the publication. RUNIN has established itself as a space for exchange and debate aimed at researchers, higher education students, experts, and decision-makers in the education sector.
Through the journal, it is hoped that analysis, research, and teaching practice will be enriched to yield articles with a critical, proactive approach, developed by reflective researchers dedicated to giving their all to the noble task of education.
Its reflective articles demonstrate that to achieve much, one needs will, enthusiasm, willingness, and—we emphasize—reflection grounded in practice; for the essence lies not in length but in the conviction that what is done is done as professionals committed to social transformation.
For their part, the research articles are the result of rigorous methodological processes that document projects aimed at analyzing experiences in the field of technology and computer science education, as well as the effects and contributions of ICT use in this field.
Any student or researcher wishing to share their experiences in this field is welcome to publish. To do so, they must follow the guidelines found in the submissions section.
