The impact of Ovidio Decroly on Colombian pedagogy and universities

Decroly is one of the educators has been influenced in Colombia and in Latinamerica due to his visitings and the pragmatic facts of his disertations. His padagogy is regulated by the relations between the human biology modelin the connection of the individual and the environment is concreted in the work. His pragmatic point of view, accordingly, learning is done basicaly in the action and will of relating the school and its environment, his thought is focused toward the knowledge of the world, up to the work, so as the knowledge the child has about itself. His center of interest methodology was constituted in one of the bases of the Escuela Normal Superior and the educative reforms of the ministry of education.
