Evolution and regulation of the woman’s condition: theoretical–methodological strategies for its study through image

Abstract

The persistence in the discrimination of the female species in Colombia, despite the advances in regulations and what has theoretically been achieved in the last decades, the complexity of this phenomenon is not only apparent, but the cultural condition is also revealed. Thus, education continues to be the course of action of much compromise when faced with the formation of a society whose goal is social equality and more specifically that of gender. The social construction of the female and male identities is without doubt a matter that resides at the heart of the problem, therefore the study of the influence of education in the process is particularly highlighted, in which also the hidden curriculum acts in a subliminal way. In this sense, an analysis is carried out of three written documents for learning to read: The alegría de leer, Nacho and Coquito: nuevo milenio.
