Abstract

The paper reflects on the impacts which Science and other areas of knowledge have on the formation of the educational development of human beings. It examines whether the study of Education Sciences is an exclusive disciplinary area of pedagogy and didactics, to conclude that education is more than pedagogy and didactics, thus opening the spectrum of disciplines linked to the practice of pedagogy, and removing it from the field of Education graduates. Finally, it invites reflection on the constant changes in all areas of knowledge and the implications concerning the speed with which scientific and technological knowledge affect other areas of social subjects, forcing them into a permanent state of uncertainty and dynamism.
