Open Call for Article Submissions
The Journal of Sociology, affiliated with the Department of Sociology within the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, is part of the multidisciplinary field of the social sciences. Its objective is to advance the understanding of social phenomena and to promote research and debate in the field of sociology.
The Journal of Sociology cordially invites the academic community to submit scientific and technological research articles, reflective pieces, reviews, and book reviews for consideration and potential publication.
Article Categories
Scientific and Technological Research Article: A document that presents original research results in detail and generally consists of four main sections: introduction, methodology, results, and conclusions.
Reflection Article: A document that presents research results from the author’s analytical, interpretive, or critical perspective on a specific topic, drawing on original sources.
Review Article: A document resulting from research that analyzes, systematizes, and synthesizes the results of published or unpublished research on a field in the social sciences and its contributions. It is characterized by a careful literature review of at least 20 references.
Reflection Papers: Short articles in a specific field of knowledge, which may or may not present research findings and typically include a limited number of references.
Reviews: Documents that evaluate and analyze recently published works in the journal’s field of expertise (political science, sociology, development planning, community development, and current affairs analysis).
Requirements for Submission
Authors may submit their articles in accordance with the Instructions for Contributors.
